Race start is 7 am. The coach is due at 4am. Here’s Masa at 2 am. Why are we awake at 2 am? That would be the thunderstorm that’s just kicked off.  Amazingly, Masa rode without arm warmers or a waterproof.  He can be seen here muttering the Japanese equivalent of “waterproofs are for sissies.”
